Technical & Near-Structure Work

The Tree Over Your Roof Comes Down in Pieces

Without a single limb touching the shingles, the pool tile, the fence or the neighbor's driveway.

Why this is different here

Crane & Technical Removal, done the way it should be

When there's no drop zone, the tree leaves in controlled pieces. Rigged, lowered, or picked off by crane and set down where we want it. It's slower and it's the only way to do it without damage.

The cheapest quote on a tight removal is usually the one that hasn't thought about the rigging yet. When the number seems low for a tree hanging over a roof, ask them exactly how each piece is coming down. The answer tells you everything.
  • Every piece rigged and lowered, nothing free-dropped near a structure
  • Crane picks where the reach or the weight calls for it
  • Roofs, pool decks and hardscape protected before we start
  • Traffic control when the work touches the street
  • Clean site, no ruts through the lawn on the way out

The five things everybody asks

  • Is this tree dangerous?

  • Will it hit my house?

  • What will the work cost?

  • Will the crew damage my yard?

  • Will everything be cleaned up?

How it works

STEP 01

We plan the picks

Where each piece goes, how it gets there, and what gets protected on the way.

STEP 02

We set up and protect

Machine placement, rigging points, mats and plywood over anything that can be damaged.

STEP 03

We take it down and clean up

Piece by piece, hauled off, and the property left the way we found it.

Questions we get asked a lot

Do I always need a crane?

No. Most near-structure removals are done on rigging lines from a climber or a bucket. A crane is for the ones where reach or weight makes rigging unsafe or slow.

Is crane work more expensive?

The day rate is higher but the job is often shorter, and on the tight ones it's cheaper than the alternative. We'll price both if it's a close call.

What if the tree is over my pool?

Then nothing gets free-dropped. Pieces are rigged and swung clear, and we cover the tile and coping before we start.

Do you need access to my neighbor's yard?

Sometimes it's the safest setup. We'll ask you first and we'll talk to the neighbor ourselves if that helps.
